Marinated Feta








Feta cheese is on my long list of favorite cheeses. Feta is a great cheese because it is subtle enough that it won't overpower anything you put it in, yet it has just enough of that distinctive salty kick that it can stand on its own! Marinating feta is really fun to do! You can pick a number of different herbs and flavors to marinate it with. Marinated Feta can really amp-up a simple greek salad.



I also think that this makes a great appetizer or even side dish on a hot summer night. You should definitely bring it to your next summer party. I promise people will ask you for the recipe!


Ingredients:
8 oz. feta
2 tbs. extra virgin olive oil
1 red chili, minced
1 tbs. fresh oregano, minced
1 tbs. fennel frons, minced
pinch of sea salt
freshly ground black pepper


Pour the olive oil over the feta cheese. Put all of the other ingredients on top. Let it marinate and enjoy!
