Ciambella

This dessert is almost like a biscotti before it gets cooked for the second time. It tastes great with tea and my homemade fresh blueberry, cherry, lemon jam. Italy's Ciambella is traditionally in the shape of a ring and served around Christmas or Easter depending on the region. Mine has some minced up fresh bing cherries inside and was in the shape of a log. Hince why it is similar to a biscotti.
